KerbCheck is operated by [your name or trading name]. You can contact us at [your contact email] with any question about the site, a payment, or your data.
The free price check and the paid street report are built from public HM Land Registry sold-price records (and, where shown, the government's Energy Performance Certificate register). They give an indicative comparison against similar homes sold nearby — they are not a survey, a formal valuation, or financial, legal, or property advice. Always get your own independent advice before making an offer on a property.
The full street report is available by monthly subscription, billed automatically by Stripe until you cancel. Once subscribed you get unlimited access to street reports for any postcode, starting immediately — you don't have to wait for a delivery period.
Under UK consumer law you would normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content like this for a full refund. By completing your first payment, you confirm you want immediate access and agree that you lose that 14-day cancellation right for that first payment. This waiver applies only to your first payment — it doesn't affect your ongoing right to cancel the subscription itself at any time so that it doesn't renew again.
Cancelling stops future billing — use the "Manage or cancel your subscription" link on the report page, which takes you to Stripe's own account management page, or email us and we'll cancel it for you. Cancelling doesn't refund payments already taken; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
If something goes wrong on our side — you were charged but access never unlocked, or a report is clearly missing data it should have — contact us at [your contact email] and we'll refund you or sort it out. We don't offer refunds simply because a report confirmed a price you didn't want to hear; the report is a data comparison, not a guarantee of any particular result.
The postcode and asking price you enter are sent to HM Land Registry, postcodes.io, and (for the optional photo and floor-area features) Google and the EPC register, purely to answer that one search — we don't create an account for you and we don't store your searches ourselves.
Payment for the subscription is handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure checkout page — we never see or store your card details. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. If you subscribe, we set one small cookie on your device that lets us recognise you as a subscriber on later visits — it only ever contains an identifier, never your card details, and is strictly necessary to give you the access you paid for, so (unlike tracking or advertising cookies) it doesn't need a cookie banner under UK rules. If you type your email into "restore access," we ask Stripe whether that email belongs to an active subscriber, purely to set that same cookie on a new device.
We use privacy-friendly page-view analytics (no cookies, no personal data collected) to understand how many people use the site. If you have a question about your data, contact us at [your contact email].
Some links on KerbCheck (for mortgage brokers, surveyors, and conveyancing solicitors) are referral links. If you use one, we may receive a fee from that company — at no extra cost to you. We only link to services we think are genuinely useful for house buyers.
